some thing active windows vista

i received your email contains a vista product key. than i choose to reboot my system to vista. after enter my password, i heard windows logon sound, then appear a window tell me to active vista. there are four choices, first one is active online. because i used a different key when i install vista, and can't active by that one, so i should not use this option. i find the third one is retype my product key, but after my click, it remind me an error, i forgot the error code. maybe you can try yourself. the most important i want to tell you is, when i use the second choice, an IE window opend, i can explorer internet. also, i can use alt+f to open a the file meun, by choose open, enter "explorer", i can enter my desktop, hehe~~~realy funny thing~~~

I hope you know there is a lot of mix up in this post.
What are you trying to do, change the product key and its not working? What type of install is this, clean or upgrade?
